Membership in the Credit Union is open to anyone who lives, works, or goes to school in Grant County, Indiana and their immediate family members.

A $5 deposit will open your share savings account, making you eligible for all the benefits and privileges of membership - higher earnings on savings, lower rates on loans, free checking and much more.

Once you are a member of the Credit Union, you remain a member even if you move out of the area.

Did you know that all the members of your immediate family or household are eligible to join Fortress FCU?

A member of your immediate family is defined as a "spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent or grandchild." This also includes stepparents, stepchildren, step-siblings and adoptive relationships. Household is defined to include persons living in the same residence who maintain a single economic unit. This includes anyone who is a permanent member of, and helps maintain, the household.
